Hey im new to stang net. Ok i have a 91 gt with a 302 bored to a 306. has 1.6 fr roller rockers, edelbrock rpm2 intake man,bbk70mm throttle body, msd wires,g force racing t-5, aftermarket clutch. And if your sitting in neutral, and rev it to like 2500 and hold it itll have a drive line shake. it didnt always do this. it was there and went away for a while. then i missed 2nd and it reved high and now its there again. Im think harmonic balancer. The block is a 1970 era block converted to roller cam ect..... can anyone help. im thinking that or a flywheel. can anyone help me out?

Since it's been intermittant, that throws out a component problem. When you said 70 block I was thinking someone probably installed the wrong balance flywheel and balancer since pre-82 were 28.8 imbalance. Chances are it's the balancer or it could be a clutch problem.

Any thing that spins can viberate.its hard to find when not on wheels or shaft.when you are still motor clutch and input shaft thru trans .when in gear trans stops than only motor and clutch spin.if vib is gone when in gear than trans is the cause.if still thier.vib in eng are 1 outa 100.clutch vib are 99 outa 100
