GMP MUSTANG WHEEL SWAP

  • Sponsors (?)

adding to the old thread..

just picked another gmp stang from the earlier years of the gmp fox collection." street heat" low production # 11. I went back and forth for awhile about getting one since I like the more stock looking ones but I liked the low production # and the price.

That 85 is AWESOME!

I have the 85, the red 92 GT and various AutoArt models...the black Bullitt, DSG Mach 1, white Saleen S351 and a couple Maisto cars...99 GT vert, 03 Cobra and 00 Cobra R

I really want the regatta blue 89 GT because I owned that same car...just not quite as stock.

Rare Notch, that looks great :nice:
Thanks Man
Is that motor a direct bolt in or did you have to mod it? lol That 85 is awesome. I wish I had money to mess with expensive models like that!

It was a drect bolt in i was suprised seeiing is how it came out of the new casting and going in the first casting screwed right in the same place. I got this car CHEAP like 40 bucks cheap so i have another one stock to.

Here's the GMP guy! Yes, Saleens would be awesome. There's nothing on the schedule YET - but I need to ask you guys a question first... If you had to choose, which one would you rather have first if it could only be one or the other right now...

1 - 87-93 Saleens

or...

2 - 87-93 LX Notchbacks

I have a ton of reference for the Saleen stuff and there's even a Saleen show near here every year that i go to. No Saleens on the '09 schedule, but ya never know.

My vote is also for the 87-93 Saleens........it would be nice to throw in there a 91-93 Shelby SAAC mustang MK 1

Anybody have a GMP '84 SVO without a box/packaging? I just came across a full set of packaging for this model but I no longer have the model itself. I figured it might be worth checking to see if anyone would like it before I tossed it. It's the old style GMP packaging which has a full color box, and a white box w/black car drawing for the color one to go into. The inner packaging is there too.

What is theyear on the box? 1984 or 1986. if is the 1984 i have a extra silver one if your intrested.
pm me. if its the 1986 then i dont cause its the black one.

The box is for the silver 84 SVO.

projectfiveo, you can get them at gmpdiecast.com but most are sold out. Ebay is probably the best bet, price-wise. Retail for the new ones are $99-109 and the old, discontinued ones often go for more due to scarcity. They don't sell parts for the cars though, but some people make their own parts for making custom models.
