Thanks. It should be the block's castings that are threaded and the forward holes on each side. Both side's castings should be spaced 7" apart to the back hole. I measured across the front holes, and now today in daylight, I see the driver side is forward more by about an inch. So my measurement is at a slight angle with the crankshaft journals. With the block upright laying on the bell end, and laying a straight edge across the main cap, I see it is equal on the driver side, and the pass. side isn't....that side sits lower than the straight edge by about an inch or so. But if they line up in the car's end, then the one mount must offset itself that amount, yes?
