why would someone have the clear sanded off? thats retarded. you could never get it all off without cutting the color. then you risk catching primer. the purpose of wet sanding is to remove peel, imperfections and ready the surfaces for compounds. reclearing the car after wetsanding ( unless you mess it up and HAVE to reshoot clear ) is counter productive. you then have to re-wet sand it again!
"waviness in panels"? sheet metal on cars these days are pretty damn straight and anything that is out of a VERY close tolerance is rejected before the body gets to final assembly line. ever hear of the big 3 selling "bodies in white"? ( its a term, they are not all white ) these cars are the rejects off the line. and even these bodies have to fall in spec! beyond that they are crushed or cut up to find out what went wrong.
color has NOTHING to do with orange peel, its in the clear, not the color. so of the thousands of people that have seen my car, YOUR the one who will find all kinds of peel? ok. you win. your right. i give up.
