merging would be awesome but it couldn't really help to make 1 big broke company....
i cant believe they don't rush the camaro out!if it ever does come now.... to at least get some sales...the mustang saved Ford once it coudl happen.....
i am really bothered by this.......i cant believe it! they ignored the consumer and loved panned obsolescence too much now they are paying the price.
Chevy is an american legend....Ford too...chrysler ahh ok:rlaugh:, why is this happening .......:(

we dont need a bailout... we need to realize that global warming is a hoax and we need politicians to get their grimy hands out of business. drill here drill now.

the big 3 need to fire all the union workers and hire non union. they'll make quality vehicles for cheaper. like mentioned above 1,000 out of every vehicle goes to union pensions. BS.

look at detroit, the city is a dump... but the UAW building sure looks good

So the workers don't deserve pensions and benefits after putting their years in?

Great idea, lets eliminate the union, hire a bunch of wetback *****s from the home depot parking lots, pay them crap with no benefits so all the profits go to the greedy corporate guys :notnice:

Anti-union people never cease to amaze me at how jealous they are that other people make more money than them and have better benefit packages ;)

if they dont bail them out there will be a great loss of jobs and future income for the auto industry would cease to exist in the states. they will get bailed out.

I'm pretty sure Honda and Toyota workers here in the US are making similar wages as the UAW workers.. and they aren't bleeding their companies dry.

Unions are a thing of the past. Company's don't (for the most part) mistreat their workers how they used to back in the 30's. Offer 401k's instead of pensions. let people invest and save for retirement on their own.. what a concept!!!!!!

Unions are a majority of whats killing the auto industry, right alongside shotty management :notnice::notnice:

I'll be getting a pension and I can get involved in the deferred compensation plan. I have not signed up for that yet though. With the way the economy is, i'm in no rush to sign up for it, but when I do i'll be starting off small :)

Would never work non union :notnice:
