Instead of mustang parts I bought Call of Duty 5....need help

****UPDATE*****


I just downloaded the ATI catalyst software for my graphics card. Updated, and bumped down all the settings. Loaded up the game and haven't stopped playing for the past 5 hours!

Anyone buy this game????? Awesome!

Anyone use the ATI software? I can't get the overdrive to work.........

I love my PS3. Well worth every cent i paid for it. It's not just a game console. I play maybe 1-2 Blu-rays/week on it, surf the internet and play games. I have it hooked up to my 50" 1080P TV...and it was the best purchase ever for my home theater system

Good gawd! You guys are talking about upgrading..and that your current setup cant even handle COD5.I am so far behind it's not even funny.

I can't afford this upgrade crap.Buy one thing and 6 months later it's no good anymore.Now it...you buy one thing and 3 months later yyoou gotta upgrade again cause the friggin new game needs FASTER still.Sucks ass..why I don't play new games anymore.

We have a 360 (2nd one due the red ring Bbuy replaced for free) we also have the Wii. I play more PC than any of those. Have not got COD 4 yet though. I have been hooked on BF2. I know its been out for years but I just got it about 1 month ago and love it. I had to upgrade the old Invidia G-card and power supply to run it smoothly. I would assume COD4 will need more Ram and yet another upgrade on my card. I am still running AGP on mine. The card I just got is an INvidia 6600. I know it's still old, but it does what I need it to do and it was only $30.00 on Craigslist.............

You fine with the processor you have. My processor is the about the same speed as yours. Seriously, for less than 100 bucks you could upgrade your PC to play COD5 at pretty good settings. Let me know where you can get a 360 for that?

You should have DDR2 ram and that stuff is so cheap right now. You can get 2GB for 20 bucks. Depending on if you AGP or PCI-e will decide on which video card you run. The one you have is the bare minimum to have. I ran COD5 with my 1950 Pro 256mb and it ran pretty good at about the middle res support by my monitor.

Newegg and Tiger Direct are good places to start. Stay away from Best Buy for memory. Their prices are a rip off.

im in the same bind, my hdd went dead on my desktop and i would re-up the whole computer and get a new hdd, mother board, video card, and processor. theyd be an equal value to a ps3 and i just cant decide what one i want.

Ok. I guess its acceptable.....:D..I'm 30 also and have three kids + a half.I'm trying to get away from the house. I took my car apart and ready for paint. So i have a lot of work to do still.:)..(still required to put in some quality time though) since Im allowed to spend some of my funds for the stang....Good luck on your stuff..

:lol: Hehe you're in the same boat. Love to work outside on the car but it get's too cold here Nov-Feb. it's -15C already this morning. :canada: Even with heaters and an insulated garage it's hard to get motivated.

Just finished bolting on my Paxton so paint will be next for me too once I get the bugs sorted out.

Hey I checked out your cardomain! you've done a crazy amount to the stang.....pretty innovative when it comes to the hood and fuel tank - I wouldn't even attempt to try it. By the way engine looks killer :nice:

Sorry couldn't respond sonner I was out of town but thanks I work hard on it. especially the enginebay and hood stuff.aWell the tank wasn't that easy also. Hopefully I put more pictures up soon.
