I purchased four black chrome wheels and tires from wheel replicas in katy, tx about a year ago and the plating is now flaking off all four of my wheels. I took them up and showed them to him and he told me I used something abrasive to clean them so he couldnt warranty them anymore. Like I use damn sandpaper to clean my wheels. Never in my life have i seen something of oem quality look like this after a year. Hell I have a set of Oem wheels that are six years old and I clean them with the same stuff and they sure dont look like that. Personally I will never deal with these guys again, complete bull**** imo.

Dont feel too bad, I have to get the lip of my wheels repolished next week because I used a "Bad Chemical" to clean them with....Btw, mine are three months old (Not the same vender) American Racing brand

The other side of the story - Wheels abused

Anyone in the Houston area or katy area that wants to see the customers wheel in question above?

If the customer is willing I will meet anyone, anywhere with the customer if he wants to bring the wheels in question along.

You can easily see abrasive marks all over the wheels in person. Not just one little scratch mark, we are talking all over the wheel.

Customer threatens to go on all the boards if we do not replace due to his abuse. If this is the case, everyone should know the facts. I would love for someone in the Houston or Katy area to come look at his wheels with me. Something ABRASSIVE was applies all over these wheels.:bs:
