JDM day was awesome Wednesday 11-19-08! Real cold and windy(20 - 25 mph cross wind was interesting at times). But great friends and times were had! The Italian buffet lunch was incredible too!!

So my car just did awesome. Spun in 2nd on first and third run..but my second run she did great! All my times slips are loaded up here.

I havent changed anything from last time. Still 13 lbs of boost. Stock Automatic and Stock Trans Convertor. Stock Suspension..even the stock front sway bar is in and hooked up. Stock shocks too. These new Stangs are amazing. But what makes them so amazing...Is JDM Engineering !!! Thanks guys!!

Videos are up on TeamJDMVideo now. My car is running in Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3. My best time was Part 2. About 5.49 minutes into Part 2 is my cars run.

Great runs. Your car really hooks.:nice:

Thanks man!!

And to think..Stock automatic Trans and Torque Convertor ...and all I did was slap on some lower control arm relocation brackets and BMR rear lowering springs(only cause she sat so freakin high back there). Thats all that is done to the suspension. Rear or front. Front still is totally stock. Even the front sway bar is in and connected. Think of all those people out there that bought front sway deletes, drag springs/shocks/adjustable upper and lower control arms and new high stall torque convertors.

Just goes to show ya......dont listen to all of them. Cause most of them told me no way would this car hook with the stock control arms and no way would she get into the 1.5 short times with stock convertor. And of course most said no way I would get into the 10's.

So to all of you that really havnt modded their car too much yet for drag racing and want to go 10's. Just do what is done to my car and dont waste your money on all the other needless stuff ....until you want to go 9's. Cause I really think I am going to have to step up the items now to go that fast :D

Couple pics Jim D'Amore III took.

I run 100% stock suspension too. No control arms, relo brackets, anti-roll bar, shocks or springs have been added.
My short times are 1.50-1.63 all the time. The stock suspension on these cars does quite well in my opinion.

Way to go! And I agree...

I also say there is no need to touch the automatic Transmission or Convertor. Atleast not until you want 9's out of the car. Then you just need a convertor....stock trans will last quite some time....

That's amazing. I didn't think the stock automatic transmission would hold up to 500+rwhp for very long, much less the stock bottom end.

I regularly see gutted drag cars with hacked off exhaust at the track that struggle to run 11s, 12s, and even 13s. You're frickin moving and I don't want to line up next to you!

Thanks man....I was where you are back in March....had a blast along the way! Your stang is still awesome as is :nice:

Here are a couple other pics taken that same day.

What wheels/tires are you running?

Yes, totally stock motor and trans/conv.

Been running 13 lbs since Sept.

Will be going to 15 lbs soon with more aggressive race tune. Right now is a very safe tune. Trying to get 10.40's or alittle better with everything the same.
