Well I traded it in tonight. The clutch was doing some WEIRD stuff and having just finished all the work that I did to this car I wasn't ABOUT to take it apart again.

here's what I picked up for about 10k w/ 40k miles on it...

Sad to see another mustang go. Dodge trucks are nice, but i LOVE Ford King Ranches...i dunno why but i fall in love with their interior every time!

I'm sure you will miss the 'Stang, but maybe you will get another one some day.

Nice truck though, I love the newer Ram's. Good choice with the HEMI, those trucks are slouches without them, especially the quad cabs. They are really fun to drive though, they don't handle like you would expect them to for their girth.

yeah it's a little boring driving an auto but the smoothness of the ride is great. I also like the convenience of throwing crap in the back and going - rather than having to find a friend w/ a truck etc.

If I really get the urge I'll be able to find a cheap GT down the road.

I had an 04 and loved that truck. Do yourself a favor and drop those wheels, they are heavy and make the truck clumsy over bumps. I was more conservative and got 18's with some road biased rubber and it made a huge difference when it came to mpg's, ride quality, and noise levels. It helped a lot on the rear jiggle you have probably felt by now. Also ended up switching out the shocks with Bilsteins but other than that kept it fairly stock. There is also quite a few little mods that can be done fairly cheaply to pep the truck up, but if I remember right, the trans is the weak part of that drivetrain. Have fun.
