Yes its in thier.its a big blackbox 1 out a million go bad. You have 5 fuses to check.in engine box. U c 4or5 big black relay on right than a row of 12 big fuses than a row of 6 than the last row of 6 on last row top number 1 20amp fuel pump relay .6th one down 20amp pcm relay the relays are located in ccmr. Now inside car driverside under dash has 3 fuses you will c a row of 3 make that rightside than 7 rows of 6 with tnp row having 5. So 4th row down 4th over 5amp pcm power.row 5 4th over 20amp and 5th 15amp.you are useing a test lite and checking both sides?

I wonder how many good CCRM's have been replaced trouble shooting other issues? I suspect it happens more often than many ppl would like to admit.

Just like replacing a fuel pump that turns out to be a PATS issue.

As stated the CCRM is located inside the right hand fender well. It can not be seen from the engine bay. It is very difficult to get to. Access may be improved by removing the right hand wheel liner.

The CCRM is not servicable and is replaced as a unit. I believe Autozone sells for about $150.

If it were my car, for a fuel pump issue, I would be darn sure that ALL of the fuses in all of the panels were good before trouble shooting the CCRM. Note, just looking at the fuse is not a good idea. Recommend to pull each one and test with an Ohm meter (or what ever you have to test a circuit with).

Next I would check the IFS (crash fuel shutoff). Then I would check for any loose grounds. Only then start trouble shooting the CCRM.

PS, it would help if we had an understanding of the entire problem as well as the steps already done and their results. This keeps us from recommending something that has already been done.

PS2; The 1996 model year does not have a CCRM. The 96 uses a fuel pump relay on harness connector C203. It is hard to see but from the diagrams I have access to, it appears to be on the left hand side behind the I/P just above the PCM.
