Picking the right Heads??

This is a pretty common question, and from your second post it sounds like you are on the right path.

My personal preference would be AFR165s because they're just a bolt-on for you. Easy to install... no flycutting of the pistons, and they'll probably make more low-end tq because of the higher port velocity. Your E303 cam is a nice sounding cam, but you're leaving power on the table. Consider getting a cam from one of the many custom cam guys like Ed Curtis, Buddy Rawls, etc...

Since you've already got a TFS manifold, you should also consider TFS Twisted Wedges. That's an excellent head that you will never outgrow. You can simply port this head out to accommodate a larger displacement motor such as a stroker or 351 W. You start off a little cheaper with TWs, but upgrading the valve train to match the AFRs brings you pretty close in price.

Either way you will not go wrong, and you will be happy with your results.

I plan on running a setup close to yours and I plan on going with ported E7's with bigger valves along with a ported stock upper/lower. I plan on seeing atleast low 11's with traction.

All motor low 11s with E7s and a stock intake. If you do this, please message me how. I just want high 11s with a custom cam, work to the heads and intake and a decent bottom end.

AFR 165s sound like the right choice.

So i can do all of this with the motor sitting as is in the bay? And could you explain more about the timing chain please?? thanks a lot for all the help guys you are making this much more understandable.

I want low 11's with spray, I think low 12's maybe touching high 11's can be done with stock heads that are worked but I also plan on a cam but I think it can be had by suspension stiffining, the right setup, the right tires, along with tuning. I see your numbers and dont see why it could not be done. Plus I will get to test and tune of a really well prepped track from spring untill fall.
