EFI Surge (header tank) question

First off I have a 331 running a vortech s trim and am looking to keep it under 500RWHP. I am in the middle of setting up my surge tank. I bought an aluminum 2 quart overflow tank that I am modifyingfor a surge tank to feed my Walbro 255 inline pump. My question is what should I run for a low pressure pump to supply the surge tank? I have a Mr. Gasket pump that I was wondering if it would be good for a feed pump. check out the link below

Just doing some basic math, the Mr. Gasket is 42gph or 158.97lph. I think the Walbro may suck the surge tank dry.

That is what I am thinking. Maybe a Holley Blue pump will work? They are rated for 110GPH

The Walbro is 67.3 Gph. The Holley is 110 Gph. Would the Holley be too much? Should I get a pump that is around 70 Gph?

Hello,

i feed my 331 with a 60gph high pressure bosch pump. The "catch" tank is filled with a facet blue top 54gph. The fuel return line goes in the catch tank too. So is the the surge tank always full.
