Aluminum Driveshaft

pretty sure my local driveline shop ripped me a new one but i had them install a yoke i provided then install both new ujoints that they provided and they balanced it for me and it cost me 180 bucks after it was all said and done, not too much more i could have just bought a new aluminum.

There are negligible before that they tripled the price of them. They were considered a very minor mod and everyone was teter-totering whether they were even worth 150-200.

I wouldn't consider an aluminum one for the price. Look for a carbon. A little more but a much better improvement.

*****! those things are almost a thousand dollars. no way im paying for that.

I have one on the 96 Cobra. I bought it when they were cheap, so my pocket book doesn't hurt too bad. I didn't really notice anything special about it. Car seems to drive the exact same as the stock peice...but it is a few pounds lighter, which is less stress on the rest of the drivetrain.
