For those that dont know, i have a baby boy due in 2 weeks!

Thanks guys, it's good to see you're all together, doing well i hope.

You get another Mustang yet, Doug? Gotta be hard to replace your old one, after how clean you kept that thing.

I still haven't purchased ANY car yet lol. I loved that thing. I was looking at pictures of it which prompted me to check out the forum.

Jinx: Doing well man. Still living in Toronto, but that will change in the next few months. Still in film, so things of that sort have yet to change. How have you been? Are you still firefighting?

Nate: Congratulations man, that's huge news. Excited?

wow! Nate, Aaron, Caldwell, Kevin, Jinx, Paul, Tom, Nik, Kyle, Troy, ProKiller, Vib -- it's been too long since i've seen all you guys post in the same thread!!

nice TDI, dude -- drove my co-worker's today after waiting for my fiance to get me after work (gti's down and out -- looks like a bad tb or ecu) and it was pretty torquey.

doesn't get much better than 50mpg! enjoy it!

lol, i have that pic Doug posted years ago of him on vacation somewhere... it involves a very large canon. i'll have to dig it up!

congrats, Nate!

Aaron: sweet jesus! and you STILL haven't posted GOOD pics of after the paint job!

Sweet mother of moses.....

This is getting creepy.

awwwwww

Haha, i ditched the long hair, and the gf.... ;P
I still have that sweater though.

It's good to see you Aaron
:nice:

Hmm... I remember that photo...
maybe it's a good thing that it stays buried ;D

I saw that Paul got a newer cobra too.

Doug I'm still firefighting lol that will probably never change. I thought you and that girl were planing a wedding. What happened? Girls can be a pain in the ass I'm going through some stuff now.

Have you made it anywhere with the film stuff? I remember you had a few ideas out trying to get them made

It is really hard to part with a good sweater...:rlaugh:

What ever became of "Sinking in Lies" Doug, any breaks or interest?

Hm, what happened is a long one... to be brief, she wanted to get married and i wasn't ready for that step (for various reasons). So, we broke it off... never to be seen again lol. It's okay though, it was for the best, for the both of us. It isn't like i don't love her, but we were beginning to hate each other. Have to separate at that point.

I'm still working in film, but as it stands from a creative standpoint, i don't like working in the industry while trying to make something yourself. Like a mechanic who never works on his own project car.
The lifestyle just isn't me, but I appreciate everything it has taught me.
Now i'm curious to see where life leads me.

are you still driving around in the stang?
brother, i don't care what people say, that colour rocks.
are you doing that as a career now? ft? (firefighting)

Wow, what a memory!
Ultimately, nothing... lol. It was considered but needed revision. Went into another draft, then, poof, nothing. Oh well, learned a lot, and wasn't discouraged enough to stop trying.
And I see you got rid of the stang for a friggin massive ass 'truck'... i think that's a truck. haha!

Ah that sucks. Me and my latest ex are trying to work things out. Not sure what's gonna happen but we're trying.
I'm still volunteering. I do work for a non emergency ambulance transport company now though. Been there a few weeks its a cake job haha.

No I haven't driven the stang in like 3 years. I drive the 99 sixer now. I am rebuilding the engine in my truck so maybe the 514 will be next.

We will await the next project then! I sold the Teal 95 that was stock and bought the truck, I still have the Opal 95....I don't think my kids or my wife would let me sell that one....She says she knows how pissed I still am that I sold my 69 Z years ago...and doesn't want me to regret it........I am finally to the point of doing some cosmetics to the car.....:D Tristan (my 2 year old ) freakin' loves that truck, he and his mom will be leaving and he sees her grab the keys to the Trailblazer and he will say, NO, drive big truck! He loves Norwalk, big trucks , anything loud.... wonder who he takes after...you need to log on a little more to keep in touch...I wish you well with the career......

LOL! That actually sounds like a pretty cool job. You'd meet the most interesting people, and the not so much... ;)
Still, that's cool. You're still in the realm of safety, and i have to commend you on, it's not usually something people guide towards.
Good luck with the lady. Women in general can be pretty taxing.
I'm kind of glad I'm on a relationship hiatus... heh

3 years.
wow, that's, scary man. The stang project seems pretty dead then?
Trucks are fun, I must admit. Not being a truck guy, my buddy was and really, you can take those things anywhere. that's fun you just can't replace.
Either way, gl on the new projects, i'm sure you won't be short on good times lol.

Well you shouldn't! hah, seriously, you need to leave yourself some fun, something that let's you separate yourself from your day to day. Monotony can be dangerous thing, but you have a full family to keep you busy, and I'm sure kids can be anything but boring.
It sounds like your kids are learning all the best anyway haha, I don't think you have anything to worry about them taking after you.
Thanks Will, I appreciate that. It's funny what Aaron says about an internet family though, it's true... it was more of a small community in the 94-95 than just dudes just swappin car tips. Be it the small section that segregated us, or whatever... it worked well.

I plan to, it's good to see that everyone's doing well and that some, not all, have still kept the car passion going in the stang community.
