Ive heard that getting an overdrive crank pulley is another way to increase boost psi, get better belt grip, and have the boost come on quicker. The only 2 companies i could find that make a 8 rib 7.5" OD crank pulley for 4.6L 2V is Innovators West and Kenne Bell. the IW is $425 and the KB is $229. Plus the IW says you need to have it pulled off once a year for maintenance which sounds like a pain. The KB pulley i cant find any info. Anybody know if the KB OD pulley will work with a vortech S trim/GI joe 8 rib setup? What all is attached to the crank pulley (dampner,etc..) and does that transfer over or does the new pulley come with its own?

I would go with ATI. They have been making fluid dampers for a long time and have a good rep.

Also the larger damper doesnt improve belt grip it simply allows you to run a larger pulley then you would normaly need for a certain psi. You start getting into belt slip issues when you start using samller supercharger pulleys because the contact area is reduced. So if your overdrive your accessorys then you dont have to run that smaller pulley.

Thanks for the info. I see that ATI and IW are about the only 2 that make overdrive crank pulley's. But their both over $400. Idk, that doesnt seem like it would be worth doing over just spending $89 for a smaller s/c pulley with about the same result.
