Been browsing a little for a nice straight 65-66 or 67-68 Coupe to make a high HP G-machine or a 1/4 miler like my last one.

Just looking for opinions on what you think it is worth.

48K one owner miles, garaged, I6.

1966 Mustang Coupe

Haven't been around for awhile so as always thanks in advance for you opinions.

what the Mazda's not doing it for you anymore?

Even though it was just a shade slower than your 347 powered stang, yes I got sick of the Mazda and sold it. I bought a new truck (Toyota Tundra Crewmax Limited 4X4, lifted) and I am looking for something to play with.

I'm not dead set on a Mustang or even a Ford (I know). I am keeping my options open. I've been checking out some cars on lateral-g.net and a 66 Nova with a procharged big block appeals to me. We'll see.

Might just say screw the nostalgia and buy a Nissan GTR - I saw one last week in Florida, bad to the bone...

Hope all is well and you get the bugs worked out of that 347, cause you should be running better than mid 13's.

I thought it might have been the case but saw the state was different. I will remove my left foot, and try not to replace it with the right. :D

No problem, but you should probably get back to one of those turbo motors that you are still struggling to get into the 10's......

aaahhhhh, sorry couldn't resist.

But really I haven't been around in awhile, last I was in here you and 12sec67 I hink were playing with the hair dryers right?

Ha, I knew it wouldn't last!! Glad to see you are thinking about a real car again.

Yeah my times are pretty sorry for my motor, but I only made it to the track once on the new motor and had a few issues that I will hopefully get worked out this year, like the clutch pedal sticking during shifts, traction, and plain old poor driving. Plus I installed a better exhaust and the mighty demon since then too. It is fast though, on the highway I can pull away from my father's modded '01 vette.

I should get lots of practice now that I live in Milwaukee- I am 10 minutes from Union Grove/Great Lakes dragstrip - so I am looking forward to warm weather.
