Ok so it's been a while since I've been around but it's winter project time and I need some suggestions. First off here is my list of mods

vortech V1 S-trim with 3.33 pulley
anderson ford motorsports power pipe
306, with forged pistons
performer heads, 194's 170cc
performer intake
75mm throttle body with adapter
crane 2031 cam, lifters and 1.7's
dual roller timing chain
30 lbs invectors
255 lph fuel pump
votech trex in line
fmu and msd btm
canton main girdle, windage tray and oil pan

Well i guess that's the basics anyways. Now i was wondering what head gaskets are a good match for this combo. I'm looking for something that is good quality and gooing to stand up to some boost.

Also what intake gaskets are you edelbrock guys running, while i'm putting it together I would like to gasket match the heads to the intake.

Thanks again:nice:

head gaskets cometic all the way if you ask me but any MLS gasket is going to be the best. intake gaskets, i've used both edelbrock and felpro and haven't had either give me problems. i use straight silicone for the front and back of the lower intake rather than the cork gaskets they usually supply.

The Felpro 1011-2 is what will work on the heads and the 1250 on the intake!! The MLS gaskets are great ONLY if the deck of the block is milled to the specs the gaskets call for.. and the heads are milled also!! If NOT.. there will be leaks most of the time!!

The 1011 series will hold all you can shove at them!!

Just me......................................

Thaks for the reply, I guess I'm headed in the right direction then. Time to put it all together and see what happens.

I know I should start a new thread but anyone want to guess some rwhp numbers on my combo with a 5 speed and 3.55's.

thanks for the help
