What is the difference between power steering tie rods and manual steering tie rods? My steering used to be power, but converted using the manual center link with the power inners and outers... When ordering parts, should i just stick with power tie rods? I heard the only difference is with the left hand inners and outers and the sleeves may be different?

'65-'66 Mustangs with manual steering have inner and outer tie-rod ends that are identical on both sides. With power steering, you have a different centerlink that is also an integral part of the power steering control valve. That means the inner and outer tie-rod ends are different on power steering cars to clear the control valve. But I don't know the details of the differences. If you have a manual steering drag link, then I'd think you should use manual steering parts. The RH parts are the same for both PS and MS. Thus you should only have to replace the LH inner and outer to MS parts (same as RH parts).

I do have the manual centerlink....and after comparing different parts I came to the same conclusion. I ended up buying a suspension kit from cjponyparts that included manual inner and outer tie rods. To make the kit work i needed a manual tie rod sleeve to replace my LH powersteering sleeve.
