Rear tire width question

295/45/18 should be fine. Some guys are running 305/45/18 on the rear with a drop, that's what I'm going to do when the Toyo's are done.

I guess you should make sure you have the proper backspacing as well though.

depending on your drop (how low you are already) you may need a panhand bar and make sure the offset is for your year car.. I have 99-04 saleens with a 2" drop and im running 285/45/18 in the rear with a panhand bar

While I haven't ordered rims from AM myself, I've read ALOT of bad things about their rims and have experienced their lack of customer service firsthand. Good Luck.

The 295 should be fine. I'm running 285's and have alot of room around them. :nice:

I wouldn't get those...spend a little more and get the Shelby American Racing Antrachite Bullitts from www.Tirerack.com ...my rear tires in the pics are nitto 555dr 305/45/18 on SARs 18 X 10 riding on Eibach Pro Kit.

I love the way that size tire fills the wheel well!!! I've been eyeing those tires for a while. Doing a few good burn outs a day trying to wear done these Toyos so I have an excuse to get them.
