Damn what a roller coaster man.

Sounds like Sniper has been more than willing to help you out though. Good luck with the shop and paint chip.
Yep, Sniper has been real great wih their service. That alone would make me buy from them again :nice:

Monday the shop is gonna fix that one blemish too. Said it should only take 15 minutes to fix

The weirdest thing is happening. I was driving it to work this morning doing 50-60mph on these back roads and was going through a sweeping corner in 5th gear. I press the gas pedal down just enough to hit 2-3 psi and the traction control kicks in. I thought I must of hit water or something but hit the gas again in a straight line and as soon as it builds boost the traction control kicks in again. It dosent do it in 3rd or 4th, just 5th. The tires ARE NOT SPINNING so I have no idea what the hell is up. I turn off the TC and its just fine
Gotta get this problem solved now. Fortunatly the new tune seems nice, the A/F ratio stays on the upper end of "storich" (sp?) so now we can work on adding timing.

So what were you guys saying? 22* is where I want it for 93 octane and 13 psi of boost?

Got the TC thing fixed and did some more tweeking on the tune. Just keeps getting better and better.... well untill I went to find the exhaust leak. The H-pipe is seriously fugged up :( Where the DS meets the cat back the flange is pushed into the pipe and cocked the pipes opening weird and there is no way it will seal again. So Monday when I bring him the list of problems (including the fact the AC does not work now  )I will point that out and get a new one. If they base it on a stock H-pipe price then I think I can get a pro chamber :nice:

Anyway, here are todays installs. Oil seperator and the cobra lug nuts

And the list of crap they gotta fix on Monday.
1. No A/C
2. Rad support squeaks
3. Paint blemish
4. Over spray in engine compartment
5. Pulls to the left
6. H-pipe is seriously bent
7. Chipped the stripe on trunk lid
8. One fog light is burnt out

Its a shame, they used to be the best shop around but now.... :nonono: :(

Its part of life, crap happens  There are usually problems when you first get a car repaired. Its just a few more then normal cause a once good shop has some less then great people working there now. I am even gonna tell him that on Monday. "Dude, this place was great before. Everybody reccomended you! Now when I say the car is being repaired with you, people cringe and suggest somewhere else (two people have said as much). You really need some better guys mang"

It will be corrected but I am sure I will have to leave the car there a couple days again :(

As for bad luck, its normal. Bad things happen to me all the time, some devestating and some just really annoying. But its the hand I was delt so I will play it the best I can

lasersvt.. got any videos of the cobra?
looks amazing btw!
I did but cant find them. It was just a burn out anyway :rlaugh:

After I get the car sorted out I will make another one. Since my H-pipe is shot I believe when the body shop calls the insurance company they will base he cost off a stock h-pipe wich is like $900 and since I have long tubes a BBK h-pipe is like $100. So if they pay for a stock one I believe I may get a Pro Chamber instead :nice: Love the way thoes things sound
So after the exhaust is fixed I will shoot some more video.

What muffs do you have? Trying to get an idea of what she'll sound like:D
I have BBK long tubes going to a BBK O/R H-pipe feeding a old set of Flowbastards. I wana get some Borlas (not stingers) to quiet it down but sometimes when I get on it and the exhaust screams and women run while their children scream in terror and the Ford guys are going "DAYUMMMMMM" and the Chevy guys go "Well thats BS cause he has a blower, hows my mullet look?" it makes me happy it has Flowmasters. Yeah, everyone has them and they are playd out, yada yada yada, but there is no denying they have a deep authoritive sound to them :nice:

Sweet. i'll bet it sounds good. Oh and i love that feeling when i open her up. The borlas have been growing on me more and more though. If i didn't want to keep my dumps i'd probably be looking into getting a stinger CB.
