2. put car next to carport with car cover on.
3. blizzard came, ripped car cover off car.
4. retied car cover on car AND shut part of it in doors.. worked for about 4 hours then flew off car again..
5. Cleared up, got ready to pull h pipe and headers to replace them and this:

sounds like you live in as much of a horrible place as i do. i live in maine and everytime i think its going to be nice enough to pull the stang out it F***ing snows, or it will snow while i am driving it and i get stuck in 2'' of snow in a parking lot or driveway with a slight incline or decline. i hate this place and so does my car. i cant wait to go back to florida.

I too have not been wanting winter to get over as much as I have this year. I too only have a carport which makes working on the car in the winter difficult. My workplace is down to working 4 days a week and of course every weekend it gets cold, rains or snows. We're on 4 day weeks through at least the end of March so I hope at some point it warms up so I can put on my h-pipe, plus I wanna take off my vinyl stripes. I guess its because I have new parts and want to get them on.

On the plus side I recently bought an 04 Mountaineer and am greatly enjoying the AWD and heated seats in this weather. :nice:

I hear you on winter.

I haven't even seen my car since October 19th. Hopefully winter will settle down in a few more weeks, then rain for about 2 more and get all the salt off the roads. I'm hoping I'll be able to romp on it by the end of April...

Weak.

its 85 degrees here, i work on my car any day of the year :)

yeah, rub it in :nonono:

i can't wait till i sell this place and get back to fl..i mean i kinda like the snow, its different for a change and i snowboard so thats a plus... but im itchin to drive my car and i must have gotten spoiled from fl where i had a actual garage and could work on it whenever needed... or take it out whenever i wanted....

the forecast is always "well were gonna have a great looking week here folks, until mr guy with the blue mustang has a day off and wants to try and get something done."

stupid weather......not that i want global warming to get here quicker, just kinda sucks to walk out and see your pride and joy covered in 8" of snow and knowing the onlytime your getting behind the wheel is if you just sit in it in the driveway

:rlaugh: Thats great! Dude i hear ya im ready for the nice weather too so i can stop taking my car to the car wash and so it by hand like i t should be. The only reason i got my udp's on yesterday is because i did it at like 1 pm and i did it fast enough to not lose feeling in my fingers:rolleyes:

Its supposed to be a balmy 52 on Wednesday so I may try to start taking the stock h pipe off. Then hopefully within a week or so I can get the new one on. I may even get to work on it Thursday as its not supposed to rain until that evening, but then of course its going to be back in the 30's over the weekend.

Oh well, as long as I can get a little done at a time it will all be worth it.

hey evil281 what part of az are you from? i am originally from tucson az, but joined the military and wouldnt you know they send me to canada ( well it might as well be). i woke up the other morning and there was 12'' of snow on the ground and i decided to check the weather in az just for kicks. it was 90 degrees, god i hate this place. i caint wait to be back home.

definately invest in a good cover, i got mine for 250 and it is custom fitted to the car with holes for the sideview mirrors to go in. Had it on for most of the winter in Mass and i have had no problems with it blowing off. My old cover was a cheapo and i found it blowing down the street one morning.

Stupid weather! :bang:

I started on the h-pipe yesterday, got everything off except for the dreaded passenger side manifold flange before I had to go to work. Supposed to be warm today too, but when I got it up it was raining! Aaarggghhhh!
