World Class T-5 shifting issues

I just today got the slushbox out of my 89' vert and got the t5 in. Wow it seems like i have so much more power now. Along with the t5 i installed a spec3 clutch, bbk firewall adjuster, and BBK quadrant. The problem I am having is when i shift to 3rd of 4th gear it grinds before going into gear. The shift is an aftermarket that came with the tranny, not sure of the brand. The is no stamping or markings on the shifter assembly, so probably something cheap. The shift has had the adjuster bolts pulled out of both front and back for some strange reason. Is my problem in a clutch adjustment, the shift, or an actual internal tranny problem. As the trany is used, but bought out of a running car. Any input would be awsome. think you all for your comments, and suggestions.

I had a similar problem shifting 1st to 2nd drove it till it finally went out. 2nd gear just came apart. Not sure how comfortable you are with working on transmissions but pulling it apart and a basic rebuild might cost you $300.
 
That is some what helpfull. I called a friend today who does nothing but transmission rebuild and relatedd items. He seems to think that the set screws on the shifter base being out of place have cause the 3rd and 4th gear syncronizer to go out. My question is are there 1 or 2 sync.'s there. I have heard that there are only 3 in a T5 and have also heard that there are 5. Does anyone know for sure if thhere is a sync. for 1st and 2nd gear, 3rd and 4th gear, and 5th and reverse or and individual for every gear?? And were can i purchase the syncronizers at aftermarket wise. My local parts stores seem to be retarded on the subject.
 
Just to let anyone else with ths same problem, the synchronizers are apired to gears i have now learned. gears 1-2,3-4,and 5th and reverse share the same synch.'s. I have also learned that synchronizers are gettinghard to find without buy directly for ford or in an entire rebuild kit.The best place i found to order(and did order) was D&D trans. i'm sure you can find thier adds an about any 5.0 magazine. Only 100 bucks shipped to me. Fordwanted 150 bucks plus frieght and a 10 day wieght time. Just thought i was share my synchranizer outlooks with anyone else having the saem issues.
