When replacing a TFI module, is there any special conductor grease besides dielectric grease that you may need for better contact, Can youplease post up yoru 411.
I use heat sink grease. It is not inexpensive but it works great!!! You can get it at Radio Shack. Good auto parts store should have it also. Just dab some on both the module side and the dizzy side and you should be fine.
You want the silver based stuff. That is why it is pricey. It was like $8.00 for a very small tube.
Silver thermal transfer compound improves the effectiveness by thermally bonding the TFI to the heatsink. Silver is one of the best conductors of heat known. It is twice as effective as standard silicon-based heat-grease.
