So I just installed the UPR K-member for my 85 GT. I also have the 79-93 A-arms from QA1, but I have a problem. If you listen to all the hype about steering geometry then I need to get the Steeda X2 balljoints to correct the alignment problems from lowering the vehicle.
The problem is that you can't run the X2 balljoints with aftermarket A arms. I have a set of 96 spindles so should I get factory 96 A arms and install the X2 balljoints. Steeda says they don't even run tubular A arms on their race cars. So I'm thinking I sell the A arms, buy factory pieces from a 96, install the X2 balljoints and bump steer kit and call it good. If I do this, all I need to buy is a front brake conversion kit from Baer or something. Any of this make sense to you guys?
