VACUUM LOCATION PROBLEMS.. PLEASE HELP!!

I am down right now with my 94gt and really need some help. I am in the midst of changing all of my vacuum lines, and I want to make sure that I have a tight system. I recently bought some silicone vacuum line and am ready to put it on. I have been having rough idle and stalling issues lately so I want to make sure that I do this right. What vacuum lines are essential to replace? There is 1 vacuum line that goes from the front of the intake, separated by an electric regulator of some sort and disappears into the passenger fender. Where does that line go and do I have to remove the fender to get to it? Thanks!

Think of the vacuum system kinda like a cracks in a water glass. Repairing each of the cracks is important - none are really more important than the others.

You're looking at the cannister purge vac line. It goes to the Charcoal cannister in the fender. You remove the plastic fender liner inside the wheel well to access it. It's pretty easy.

For the other end of that line (where it goes under the intake plenum and runs along the valley), were you able to replace that without removing the upper intake? I'm just curious.
 
Here is a pic of my motor.. I will circle the spot where the canister line connected. (see second pic).. I just bought this car and I know nothing about the history except it was built by Extreme Mustang Performance in So.Cal (no longer in business or under a different name). Eric Chaney?.. I am still unclear on what vacuum lines have to do with the running of the car? I bought a silicon line kit but only see minimal lines to replace. Thanks HISSIN50!

For your non-stock intake, maybe that's the best place they could figure to put the purge valve vacuum line. It should work.

Vac is key to the running of an engine. A vac leak creates a lean condition, erratic idling, poor power brake function, etc. If you create a vac leak for instance, the idle will be very high and then can crash down after a bit of time or during transient throttle movements. The car may or may not stall.
 
Thanks for the reply. One more question. If you look at the bottom of the new pic I circled a series of plastic hoses. They go to the fuel pressure regulator etc etc and back to the passenger fender. 2 of the ends broke off and I was thinking of tapping the lines with silicon hose. Is it ok to do that? When I tap the lines it should produce a greater vacuum suction. The ends that are on there right now seem to be very loose and iffy. Is there a better way to do this? Thanks

Those lines go to the EVR, TAD, and TAB. The FPR gets vac directly from the intake (not those lines).

Those crappy plastic lines do often break. You can slide tight-fitting hose over the plastic line as a repair.
