havent updated this in a while, but the motor is built and ready to drop in now.

this concerns me a bit, the egr valves' body just barely touches the kirban fpr i bought. think it will be ok, theres no gaskets between the egr plate and the manifold in the pic, but want to make sure before i drop it in.

other than that, theres still a couple engine bay brackets to paint, then throw the liners back in (dredding this, they were a pita to get out), wheels on, pull the tank for a new walbro pump, then drop the motor back in and see if she goes. hopefully ill be at that point next weekend, as long as the weather doesnt get too crappy.
 
Wow that thing looks great, thats exactly what I want to do but I am trying to find a stock block for like 50 bucks local. Looks great though. If you dont mind me asking what did they do and how much did they charge to clean it up? Was it like a well known speed shop? Or just an engine machine shop?

I have a bare 302 block i'll let go...no internal though.
