Valve spring #'s questions (need help bad)

Well I went to get my valve spring set and found 2 sets that are for my 94 cobra. But of the 2 I am not sure which to get or install. There are some number differences on each that I have no clue what they mean. They are as follows

The valve spring brand is Comp Cams
1.464 2 spring Assembly
seat load 332 @ 1.300

the other is

1.430
seat load 132 @ 1.750

Also they have a not that says requires machining on cylinder head. I am only changing one and not taking the head off to do so. So that note would not apply to me right?

I also have some problems identifying which seal to get. There were several brands all with some numbers. Can anyone shed some light on the product I should get? And maybe what the numbers mean?

i went threw this with my AFR's and if i remember right the 1.464 and 1.430 is the height of the valve spring witch is important to know so you know if it needs shimmed or not. these numbers are are for what cam and the lift of it i beleive? Mean it's how strong the spring is 332 @ 1.300 and 132 @ 1.750. You should be able to call the cam manurfacter and see what they recomemnd for the spring pressure and check with the head manurfacter and they can tell you what spring heith to get, or measure the spring and that will tell you also.I dont understand why they would want you to machine the head?uless the fact the spring is to tall? peace

Start over. Here are the specs in my shop manual for the '94 cobra:
Compressed Pressure:
Intake:
90#@1.78" 280#@1.30
Exhaust:
85#@1.60 264#@1.12

Free length, Intake 2.017"
Free length, Exhaust 1.389"

Assembled Height, Intake: 1.800"
Assembled Height, Exhaust: 1.620"

Now you can call Comp or Crane and ask them. I tried to look it up for you at CSK but the site is down. Since you just want the stock replacement you should be able to check NAPA, Autozone, Schmucks.

I called them today. They do not have a spring that is exact to my stockers. numbers are slightly off. I do not have the budget or time to change them all. My new question is:

If that one spring is slightly diff would that negatively affect my car? Where the stockers are 90# @ 1.78 and 280# @ 1.30 the Comps are 124# and 293#
