Looking for someone with an SCT tuner in the Sacramento Area

I just put on a full exhaust and an intake. Is there anyone in the Sacramento Area that would let me pay to use their tuner so I can maximize my mods??

It doesn't work that way, you'll need to buy a tuner. When you upload a tune to the PCM, it locks the tuner to that PCM. The tuner can not be put on multiple vehicles, only one PCM strategy. Not to mention the tuners are tuned for that particular PCM strategy code and there are quite a few out there. Check this out ..

A couple times I Almost bought one off of Craigslist.
But I backed out because...
I'm just not sure that reseting the tuner back to the stock tune will work on my car after it's been programmed to someone elses VIN and PCM?

If a programmer has been tuned to a specific car, they have to return the car to stock tune before you could use the tuner on another car. Otherwise, it's locked to that specific car. Most companies that make tuners can unlock a locked device but costs about $75 bucks.

there is a sniper tunner out there ive never delt with them but u can buy credits for it and do more than one car....a used tunner must have be reset or factory tune put back on the previous car....better off getting a tunner then u have it when ever needed
