What are Fox Coupes going for these days?

Depends on the shape of the car really. My buddy just bought a pretty decently clean 5 speed '89 coupe with an Explorer intake, BBK CAI, 70mm mass air, pulleys, K+N, shifter, a few gauges and some odd looking Weld rims for $1500. With the economy being so tight, it's hard to get any reasonable cash out of anything.

In my case clean means new paint (a decent job), a really nice new interior, and at least a couple of thousand in routine stuff like a rebuilt/serviced AC system, a stainless catback, new headlights, an Alpine radio, a new set of Tokico blues, new hoses, steering rack.....it's endless. I built the car to be my daily driver. Other than the door lock actuators not working (I have new ones that I haven't installed)) it's 8+/10. The more I talk about the less I want to sell it. The problem is that I have 5 cars of my own + my wife's car. I have to keep my 65 in the garage of my rental house because my driveway is over-full.

the interior is really clean, but in all honestly the body could use paint, i wouldnt call it an 8+ out of 10. If i was looking to purchase that car, i'd be looking to get a deal out of it, and i think thats what your going to run into. Mabye throw a set of wheels on it, cause im my eyes the 10 holes are killing it

IBTL :lock: a mod is definitely going to come through here and take this as a for sale/what's it worth thread

but in my opinion, a year or two ago you'd probably have no problem getting $4500 out of a coupe that clean, but as stated above, times are tough for everyone... if i were you i'd throw a set of craigslist 17" chrome cobras on it, it would probably be one of those mods you can do on a car you're selling that would only cost 3 or $400 but would net you another $1000 when you go to sell it, simply because it cleans the look of the car up so much

good luck with the sale
