Here it is, my beloved 91 LX with 100,000 adult driven miles. The only mods are a Flowmaster Cat Back, Hurst shifter, I put a tri ax handle and the 03 Cobra knob on today, and my old headlights from my 89 GT. I had them lying around so I said why not. The car drives like a dream. This one is staying the way it is (save for paint after I finish my 88) until I pay the loan off I got to buy her. I'll eventually get some B springs for it and do a nice shock/strut combo and if I ever do gears they are only gonna be 3.27's. I'm only gonna crack the motor open if I have to and a stock clutch and quadrant is always gonna be in it. I don't even know if i want to take the air silencer, I'm afraid to touch it!!! The plug wires are original and say "1991" on them. They are getting replaced by blue Ford Racing ones I have lying around. The interior is mint and is the best part of the car I think. The ashtray door works, the center console latch works, the map light works, the under hood light works. I waxed the front end real quick but i ran out of time cause I'm going to Atlantic City with my buddies tonight. Anyway, here are the pics!

This is how it looked when I first brought it into the shop

I don't think I've ever seen the inside of a valve cover be this clean.

Potential Potential Potential!!!!!!!!!!!

No potential to be realized here...it is staying a stock daily driver at least for the forseeable future. I am ridiculously jealous because this is the EXACT car I am looking for right now. Look for his progress thread, he is building a crazy nice 88 T-Top car...so no big reason to mess with this one...at least right now.

Of course, as we know, these cars don't stay stock...it is only a matter of time.

A nice high speed buff and clay bar job would do wonders to that car.

Eh, it looks better in pictures than it really is. There's alot of acid rain spots. To make it look really good, it would need a wet sand and buff and I really don't wanna spend the time doing that. I'd rather just wait and repaint it.

I just got back from AC and this thing did great. Had four people stuffed in it and it got about 24-26 mpg. I'm not touching ANYTHING on it. Its too perfect to start tearing into it. Thanks for the comments

BTW, the guy wanted 4500 but I talked him down to 4000. I think it was a real good deal.

And Brian, your definatly right, this thing is gonna be WAAAAY easier to maintain than the SHO. I actually think I just sold that heap to some SHO nut for 500 bucks, hello cobra wing and rear bumper for the 88!!
