Mustang paint job

Hi everyone,

I am in the process of getting my project mustang painted. As of right now, I need to find an exterior color to go with the canyon red interior.

Does anyone know of any websites or resources I could use to compare colors that would go well with canyon red? I am looking for a shade of red, try to keep the original colors.

If anyone has any suggestions of a color of red that would look great with canyon red I would appreciate it. I am looking to have the exterior red with the black stripe around the body, black plastic trim (for example the grille, rear view mirror, fins, etc.) and chrome body trim.

this might help a little with shades of a color....

go into MS paint, draw 2 squares. using the color chart 2x click on the red, when the window pops up click on define custom color. Find the closest red to canyon and fill one square with it, then do the same with other shades of red to see what might look good.
again this is not professional, but might give a quick help until you can get samples or whatever

Stop by your local PPG paint store and look through the old chip books from the 80's. You should be able to find something you like.

Or you could google red cars like I did. Found the right red that would be good for a Boss car on a Cobra.

Jax Rhapsody, I ended up doing that, going to google and typing in shades of red. I ended up with a cherry red that will go nicely with the chrome trim and black stripe going around the mustang.
