Mach 1 wheels on my car

Dont see Mach 1 wheels on fox bodys very often so I fiqured I would give it a try (and they where dirt cheap) Still need to swap the front, have all the parts for it (96 spindles, calipers, rotors) just didnt have time to get it all done in one day. Yay or nay?? I like the side views but from and angle the tires need to be wider, Probly put some 275/40s on it soon to replace the 245/45s that are on it.

Yes, I know the car is very ugly. Living in a apartment and daily driving it for 4 years has taken its tole on it bad, Getting ready to move into a new house so Will have a garage to start the body work, have new fenders, front bumper and plan on replacing the hood with a 1.5-2.5" cowl.

i seriously doubt you will hear any "ugly" comments from this group of people man. car looks good and we all know how life is and whats to be expected from a daily driven car. i think the mach 1 wheels are awesome btw. :nice:

mach1 wheels look great! on foxes. I coulda swore there was a super clean black hatch that had them on there. Maybe i am making up stuff. Looks good though, finish the front and get her painted!

Yea - Mach 1 wheels look great on Foxes. I ALMOST bought a set a few years back but bought Bullets instead...I kind of wish I bought the Mach 1's now...or the 10th anniversary Cobras.

God that car looked so much better then than it does now. I still don't know why that idiot painted it blue

He has no idea what he is doing. He now has a Redfire 08 GT/CS that he insists is Torch Red. I tried telling him its Redfire but he argues with me.

This is what it became after I sold it...the kid thought he had a showpiece...and this picture makes it look AMAZING...beleive me its not this nice

Yea, that blue paint job is by far one of the worse I've ever seen. The kid is a total hack, and a complete tool too. lol He should never be able to work on cars judging by seeing his work. And painting a car with red interior sonic blue..................

I think the Mach wheels look better on Fox bodies then they do on Mach 1's....

:stupid:

So when ya doing the front 5 lug?
They look very good and I am sure you will be attending to the paint when time/funds permit. We can see you are a die hard Stang fan cause its not everyone that can live with a Fox every day :hail2:
What size tire is on it now? I would set up 2-3 sizes on the width but keep the aspect ratio the same. ie: if they are 225/45 then I would do a 245/45 :nice:

The Mach's look good on the foxes. I was going to put a set on my 93 but never made it past the freebie New Edge GT wheels.........

As posted above, alot of the newer factory wheels look good on foxes!!

I am going to have to agree with everyone in here. Looks great and keep up the momentum.

Quick-That guy should be shot and in the future when you sell a car you have to prescreen with us here on SN ;) That way we can stop another fox from being treated like that... :nonono:

Thanks for the complements guys. I once I get settled into my new house, I'll start tearing the car down for body work. May wait till the end of summer though, would like to get a 10 sec slip out of it before I tear it all down for paint.

For the front Im putting 96 GT brakes on it, I picked up the spindles, calipers, rotors, lines with new pads for $150. I would of rather had 94/95 stuff but I got the 96 stuff dirt cheap. Right now the wheels have 245/45/17s on them, They seem to tall for the front since I have it really low on coil overs. I want to put 245/40/17s on the front then 275/40/17s on that back.
