Well, I got another Mustang! I have not posted here in years but remember this forum was great in helping me figure out why my 65 was fouling plugs like crazy. That car is gone, I bought a 92 GT vert. after that with a bunch of mods (355whp), car blew headgaskets like it was going out of style so I took it back to stock (no more vortech!) and ended up selling it. I regretted it because it was a fun car and SUPER clean....... so after a few more cars over the years I decided to search for another Fox. Was thinking coupe at first..... but then realized I just want a "fun" cruiser..... so what could be better than a another vert right?? Well much to my surprise it seems like clean fox's are FEW and far between and the prices actually look like they have gone up since I last looked in 04. I did find one that fit the bill though. She's an all original 74,000 mile car with an amazing service history. I gave 5k for it. No real mods besides some flows, strut brace, subframe connectors and a short shift kit and that's just how I plan to keep her. She's a fun little driver, not flawless by any means but a very healthy and well kept example. Here's a few pics, what do you all think? Thanks for looking!

Thanks man, yeah I feel I got a good deal, are there WAY cheaper Fox GT verts. out there?.... heck yes! But man oh man, what these poor cars go through over the years. It's getting harder and harder to find clean ones, what I am seeing a lot of nowadays are guys buying some really rough cars, and doing a quickie on them and trying to flip them for some cash....... I ALMOST fell into one of these with a notch.... it looked clean, but had way to much drama and story behind it so I passed. Anyhow...... me and my wife are loving this car. Such a great value at 5k. for this much fun, and its amazing how much attention a clean older Fox gets. I have been approached to sell it 3 times in the month I've had it!

you can fix the ash tray pretty easy and I super glued my map pockets in place, I figure even if you put new ones in your never going to use them anyway so super glued makes them look new.

I would put a set of gears in mine they are pretty slow, I would be suprised if it puts down 200hp to the tire

I'll probably repair the ash tray but not to concerned, as it really isn't a fox without the broken ashtray door right? I would also be surprised if it put down 200whp, but that's really not a concern either...... I've had plenty of fast street cars and unless I want to play the number chasing game again it just does not really matter. What does matter is that the car is FUN to drive, and it is. Sounds great too. Oh yeah..... and will remain reliable and low maintenance. I must be getting old talking like this!

3 owners, all Mustang enthusiasts. Lot's of documentation. What is amazing to me is how good the black paint still shows for being all original. The most significant flaws you can't see in the pics are some clear coat peel on the edges of the front and rear bumper, besides a few extremely minor dings the body is straight! All in all just a clean fox, that has been driven, but taken care of. Probably how all the original owners started out with there fox's..... this one has just been lucky enough to find some good owners throughout it's entire life.

thats one of the cleaner sangs i have seen did you buy it from the original owner or did all its owners baby it? wow

Mine is exactly the same as yours its so funny, the lady that had mine from 1993 till last year recorded every gas fill up and did the MPG calculation. my front and rear bumpers are the bad areas too but I kind of like it that way at least i dont worry about driving it anywhere
