Ok I have a couple of questions

1. those of you who have done the wire hiding in the engine bay , what did you use to attatch the harness ? I am planning on running the wires thru the back holes in the strut towers , the wires that run across the firewall , I want to move them below the opinch weld but again I am not sure of what to use to hold them up out of the way .
2. the previous owner installed a one wire alternator ( i think pic included ) they ran a wire from the post on the back of the alt. to the positive battery terminal , this looked liek crap and unsafe , I plan on running the wire from the post to the positive side of the solenoid with a fusable link in place ( close to the alt right? )

the previous owner also cut the factory alt plug and capped the wires with wire nuts  is the best way to clean this up just to reconnect the factory plug and hide it in with the harness ?

thanks for the help! new pictures with better camera ....

and here is a pic of where I had the wires running thru the fender apron , I couldnt get the coil wire to work correctly with this set up so I redid it and now have the main harness doming thru the hole in the back of the strut tower .

luckily the trunk had no holes ... so we simply sanded it down , sprayed 3M undercoating , let that sit for a day , then went back and sprayed it with a gloss black and of course carpet will be layed over all of this .

all yea we also cleaned out about 4 feet worth of speaker and amp wires
:rlaugh:

new pics , lowering springs, shocks and struts installed over the weekend. Also installed ford racing a/c eliminator kit . Waiting on new quad shocks to come in.

I got a set of allen head 1/4-20 studs for my valve covers last year and i would NOT own a 302 based vehicle without using them. You simply drop the gasket on, drop the valve cover on, washers and then nuts. It doesn't get any easier than that unless you wanna get nuts with the washers built on since the only frustration here is fingering around trying to get the washers off the studs.

Oh, and $30 is RETARDED to pay for something like this. Go to a good hardware store and find some threaded rod and cut it down to 2 inch sections or whatever you prefer and buy some nuts for them and pay maybe $5 total. Or if you can find some threaded rod with the allen key hole in the end like i got that works even better. You don't need stupid grade 8 ARP hardware for something with a 12lb-ft torque spec.

I have never seen that nose before but really dig it! :nice:

That is one hell of a gift you are making your pop. Just thanking him for raising you or something?
