I've got a 68 coupe with a 289 and some long tube headers. Does anybody with a similar setup have pictures of how you may have routed your power steering hoses to keep them away from the headers? Mine run right next to the drivers side header during a tight left turn and im trying to avoid some sort of potential flammability between hot headers and p/s fluid.

You'll need to replace the pressure and return hoses with the GT350 type, which are routed big-block style below the motor mount. You'll also need the bracket that goes down there. You should also weld the steering cylinder drop bracket to the frame, that longer style tends to pull the bolts out by the roots.

Alright, I went to NAPA tonight and they claim that my c-code 289 has a 52 3/8" length pressure hose, and something for a big block was under 2 feet. I was somewhat confused. Is this guy lost I don't see how two feet of hose would work on a big block. With that info I figured I was better off routing my 52 3/8" hose over a 2' hose that wont reach.

Your NAPA guy missed the part where it said "upper" and "lower". And of course he was focused on his lising, which insisted on certain hoses for a 289, since he knows nothing about Mustangs. You need the "GT350" items. That MU picture shows ALL the hoses, and of course you don't need the cylinder hoses. You will need the lower bracket, though. Any good Mustang supplier, such as Glazier's, will have have this stuff.
