Please Post Your Gas Mileage

I went to vegas twice since i got my car and i got 24mpg on the first trip (all highway) averaged between 3 tanks there and back but after getting offroad x-pipe and catback and cold air the second trip i averaged 30mpg (all highway averaged between 3 tanks again). I noticed that i get better milage if im cruising at 70 in 4th gear than in 5th gear too. Im very happy with the overal mpg on my stang tho. I usually average about 17mpg on the street and freeway mixed when normally going about my week.

If theres a gas station by the highway, I either fill up at Marathon, or Shell. No BP garbage. The car does great with those 2 companies, and if its by the highway, I will fill up and get back on. Make sure to reset the counter for MPG, But I got 22.5 the other day.....and in cold weather! :nice:

Been watching the gas mileage for the last three months since I got the new C&L Racer intake and tune from Modular Muscle. I have documented a ~2MPG improvement. Before the intake and tune, I was at 17/24 (city/hwy), and now I am running (19/28)...

pretty cool.

I bought my GT on December the 12th of '08, and I've only put about $30 worth of gas in, since that day ... my fuel mileage is incredible ... 'course I've only put about 300 miles on it since purchase date ... LOL

my last trip down to south florida to get the gears installed I got 29.6 on the way there with the 3.31's and 20's of course and on hte way home I got 26.5 iwth the 4.10's but my foot was alittle heavy on the on ramps.

'07 GT/CS 5-Speed Manual 26,000 miles. Best on a full tank highway only was 27 worst around town was 13 but I usually average about 18. I will be driving to Florida from CT in April & will fill in with more details.

Bone stock 2005GT (paper air filter and all) running Mobil-1 after 1st 1,000 miles, about 40,000 total on the odometer.

22-23MPG mixed (hwy/city) during winter
20-21MPG mixed (hwy/city) during summer (A/C running)

Highway criusing 90% of the time and about 26ish mpg

I did find out that if you are driving and reset your info center when you have the average mpg displayed you can instantly find out your mpg at your current speed. I was going 35mph and did that and the comp was saying I would be getting 41.9 mpg! Woot! If only that was the speed limit around here and driving at granny speeds wasn't so annoying...

17.8 that's a combination, 13 miles to work 3/4th back roads...never seen better than 22. That is with an Auto, stock gears. The trip computer is consistently .3 to .4 mpg worse than I actually get, weird because on my dodge its always 2.5 mpg better than the math...

I get a very consistent 21.5-22.75 doing no driving other than my daily commute. That is some stoplight-to-stoplight (0-45MPH), some bumper-to-bumper (cannot get out of 1st & 2nd gear) and I get to hit 80+MPH every single day on part of the stretch so it is not all low speed.

That is calculated with math not the on board computer, take away about 1MPG if the air conditioner is running.

I just got back from a trip from CT to FL about 2400 miles round trip with an avergae speed of 77 mph in my '07 GT/CS and Iwas getting 26.5 MPG. I did it as a straight one day ride about 17 hours each way and it was fun to take the cruise in the stang - would do it again!

I just got my first Mustang, the 09 GT and I have an app on my iphone that calculates my MPG... so currently I'm getting 16 MPG and I'm driving a lot of highway this weekend, so we'll see if it changes much with that :)

4,602 miles from Kentucky to Las Vegas to Birmingham, Alabama and then back to Kentucky. I averaged 25.2 MPG until I hit Birmingham and did quite a bit more in city driving for the big Mustang show. MPG dropped to 24.7.
Normally in town, I live only a few miles from work, I get between 13 and 14 MPG.
