dave your back, in honor of your return from being banned and because you didn't waste any time trying to sell us something, i thought some theme music was in order
YouTube - Jaws theme!!

As for your signature, it represents your reason for being here, your passion, me, i love supercharged saleens

your reason for being here is to rebuild the web presence 36,000 visits per month (congrats you must be raking it in, big money) and the event attendance right???

here's the question as you don't feel its important to own a saleen: are we just sheep for you to sell your goods too???

Dave 2.0,

It has come to my attention that your parents have purchased a Saleen Mustang, and I would like to offer them a complimentary 1 year membership to The Saleen Club of America.

If they are attending the Fords @ Carlisle Event, I would also like to invite them to join The Saleen Club of America in the weekends activities.

Please PM me their name and address so I can give them their complimentary membership, and make sure they get the monthly magazine of the SCOA mailed to them, PoweRRR, so that they can "keep up to speed on all things Saleen".

For more information about The Saleen Club of America and what additional "Saleen related" events are going on in Carlisle please feel free to visit: Saleen Club of America* - it's all about Fun, Friendships & Saleens

Best,

dave i got a question and i'm kind of new so i'm a little confused, here is the latest claim by soec forum newsAbout SOEC

: The Saleen Owners and Enthusiasts Club was founded in 1991 and is the premiere organization of Saleen owners with more than 3,000 members worldwide. As the officially-recognized organization for the brand, each new Saleen owner receives a complimentary 1-year membership in SOEC. SOEC's website, Saleen Owners and Enthusiasts Club::.. SOEC - Aiding The Addicted - Since 1991, gets nearly 40,000 visits a month by owners and enthusiasts alike, enjoying the world's largest historical archive of Saleen-related literature and other resources. SOEC's Saleen Forums has over 1,500 registered users, and is the largest and most active Saleen community online.-- Saleen Owners and Enthusiasts Club

you guys are claiming 3000 members and membership cost 25 dollars a year right thats alot, 75,000 to be exact, you also have forum sponsors another couple of grand and jim is selling saleen stuff on ebay to benefit soec another couple of thousand there maybe,
75,000 membership
2,500 forum sponsers as you claim 40,000 hits a month
2,500 selling stuff on ebay
80,000 lets call it per year

now your expenses you email everything and pdf the qtr letter so no cost there, no postage, you do all the in house stuff, lets say the website and forums cost you 50 bucks a month , i think scoa's is 10 bucks, you produce none of your own shows and in new england i have never even seen a a soec member at a show ,is it possible you have no members up here. you piggback a couple of shows a year like carlie and probably had to buy your own tents i'm gonna be generous and say you spend 5 grand a year piggy backing major shows
so thats
600 a year for the websites
5,000 for piggybacking the major shows as you don't do your own shows
4,400 just to be fair
10,000 total expenses

now if you do have 3,000 menbers which would make you more popular than the shelby club thats a club i want to be a member of alot of saleen brothers. what the hell happen to 70,000 dollars per year

possibles
#1 somebody is getting paid an inappropiate amount of money as you are a nonprofit and that money should be used for the saleen community, in the world of non profit 90% of the funds should go to the beneficiary, not costs.
#2 you don't have 3000 members

look guys, like greg i would consider being a member of both clubs but what do i get for my money??

Chris,

I believe there are paid members and non-paid members. Registrants and members is the difference, I think.

I post there to watch the comedy show of Dave and Jim, to laugh at the back peddling, and laugh even more when they steal other people's info and post it as their own.....but "copyright" anything and everything posted on their site so others cant use it....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

BTW: I have never paid, nor will I EVER pay to post there.

Lets see how long it takes for them to post the "SOEC spin" on the new 2010 Saleen.

Additionally, we all know that "visits" and "members" numbers are way inflated. If the owners act like they do here on stangnet (creating multiple screennames), then, yeah, they have thousands of members.....hahahahahahahahahaha
