Favorite mustang color?

My Favorite color is BLACK, but it is a PIA to keep clean. Which isn't a problem for the Mustang since it's not my DD. If I had a Mustang that was my DD, WHITE or SILVER are some of the best color choices, IMO. Plus these two colors can be dirty and still appear somewhat clean.

Had black. It is hard to keep clean. Had silver, blue, several shades of red, prarie bronze, white and a couple of others I can't remember the names of. (Of course silver isn't silver, blue was not blue, etc.)
I seem to always go back to red. I have a torch red 2007 and a candyapple red 1966.

This is my 9th Mustang, and none has turned more heads than my Legend Lime.

Only 13,864 ever built and only 5,048 of them were GT's. Less than half of 1% of all S197's ever built are in this color, and they were very rare back in the day when this color was introduced, too.

i really like the legend lime as well. the dealer described the color to me and i said no way. shoulda saw one in person first. other than that, not many factory colors stand out as the best.

i guess being in the body, shop for so many years made me expect more. :)

I feel ya. I see so many Stangs on the street, that I purposely shopped around for one in Lime to avoid ended up next to a car that looks just like mine on a daily basis. I have absolutely no regrets on my decision to hold off for a Limer.

Fortunately, I had already seen some on the street. If the dealer would have tried to describe this color to me, I probably would have passed on it, too.
