28 spline yoke?

If you've got the right driveshaft, you should already have it.

EDIT: Sorry, just saw your previous post. I wasn't being a smartass. Seriously though, all T5 equipped cars and 5.0 automatics have the correct 28 spline yoke.

yeah I dont know what happened, they sent me the right one as far as length goes, but it has a 24 spline yoke. i ordered the correct 28 spline, but damn I coulda had this done a couple days ago. now its gonna be at least a week.

ok heres what happened, the driveshaft I have is for a 2.3 t5, not the 5.0 t5. so Im just gonna try and get another one, but I need to know which to get. any 5.0 t5 driveshaft will be 28 spline right?

The 5.0 and the 2.3 5spd driveshafts are the same. I don't know who you're talking to, but they're either misinformed or feeding you a line of crap.

There are 3 engine/tranny combos that use the same driveshaft.
5.0 5spd
5.0 AOD automatic
2.3 5 spd

The 2.3 auto is different in both the yoke and the length.

the first driveshaft i used was directly out of a 2.3 5speed, same length and had a 24 spline yoke like my automatic driveshaft did. the second one i bought was from a 5.0 t5, it had a 28 spline yoke that bolted straight up to my 2.3 t5. maybe someone changed the yoke on the 2.3 5speed driveshaft to a 24 spline, who knows...but it didnt work and the 5.0 one did, length wasnt the issue i knew they both the same, i just didnt have the right yoke. its all good though, runs and drives
