Water Stains on Windows

Depends on the severity of the stains. If it's from well water, which can have heavy calcium and/or lime deposits. Both of those are very hard to remove.I have well water myself and have just a slight calcium problem.Stains are a PITA to remove.BUT,if you are careful you can use something like wheel acid (aluminum brightener).Throw on some rubber gloves and soak up a large piece of paper towel with this stuff.make sure its not dripping. Now blot the area with the cloth, wait about 20 seconds, then start wiping it down.Takes little to no effort and spots are gone. You can also try CLR.Not sure on that as it's rather weak.Lime Away should work, that stuff is pretty strong.Very fine steel wool and glass cleaner with ammonia works on some spots.

As a LAST RESORT....i don't reccomend this but I can guarentee it WILL remove ANY water stain on your glass.Muriatic Acid, used in pools and for etching concrete. It's basically 33% Hydrochloric Acid and 67% distilled water. It'll eat those spots away....and your gloves if your not careful :D hehe.Like I said...not reccomended.

I have not tried the vinegar yet.I figured if Lime Away wasn't gonna cut it,the vineger sure as heck wouldn't scratch it.

Don't use razor blades on glass. You can easily scratch it....permanently.
