I went to chevy the other day to get oil changed on colorado and they had a 6 cyl camaro. It was 28,000. a gt mustang is 28. he said a loaded out camaro was 45,000 and they won't come down on it. He asked me how I liked it after he told me that I told him it was overpriced. The corvette has more standard options then the loaded camaro, is faster, and is 47000.I have a jeep liberty so getting the oil changed on it I stopped and looked at the challenger. Loaded out srt8 is 41,000.
I also subscribe to R&T and C&D The challenger is .1L smaller motor and 285 lbs more with 1bhp less. The camaro runs the quarter/0-60 at 13.0/4.6 the challenger runs at 13.3/4.8. The challenger is 7 inches longer, 3 inches taller, and wheelbase is 4 inches longer. so it wold prob be a more cmfortable ride.
I would rather have the gt though. .7 sec slower with a 4.6 L vs a 6.2 L and even smaller than the camaro so it runs the quarter/0-60sec at 13.7/5.1. It has 110 bhp less than the other cars and it looks good too, not as good as the challenger but with 10 grand in your pocket it could be supercharged and have some left
