dont let my signature fool you. i have just bought a 2003 red mach 1 with 5372 miles on it. i want to know what brand is good for long tube headers and springs. i only want to lower it about an inch or so... also what would be some good intake parts ( throttle body, and cold air intake) im thinking accufab or bbk for the throttle body but let me know please, thanks

Alot of people recommend the JLT, but quite afew people also complain about the fit of it. Myself, I have the C@L Tru-Flo. Their's also the K@N CAI. Just make sure you put the MAF screen back in when installing it. Long tubes run the gammit. BBK, MAC, Kooks, Bassani Mid Lengths. Throttle Bodies are very finicky on the Mach engine. Beware of stuck open throttle and hanging RPM's on a constant basis. More trouble than their worth if you ask me. Get a handheld tuner. Some good RWHP to be gained with a dynotune. The Mach loves gears. 4.10's are the norm, but some even say 4.30's are not over the top either. Enjoy the Mach.

Just had SLP LTs installed on my Mach after I rebuilt the motor, I'm happy with them. Don't think I can lower the car more then an inch though with them, they seem to hang a little low.

thanks for eveyones advice.... now who makes good cc plates and also can you give me some info on the throttle bodies cause on my current 04 gt a new bbk 75 mm throttle body made a huge difference in throttle responce... is it not like that with the machs also does anyone make aftermarket intake manifolds for the car and im leaning toward the bbk longtubes cause there only about $500 let me know what you think about that also... thanks again
