Edit: (Didn't realize the pics were so big! Sorry.)

It's been 3 years since I last drove my 1991 LX 5.0 Hatchback. This week, I finally took the plunge and replaced her with a new girl. She's younger, sleeker, and likes to take it slow... and she only cost $750!

She's my 1993 LX Notchback! And technically she's not a 5.0L yet, but since she will receive a new heart and lungs in the near future, I figured this was the best place to show her off.

Here's the best part. She was driven by a 74 yr old woman for the last 80,000 miles (since 1997) and has 135k on her now. She runs fantastic, passed emissions, her interior is showroom new (see the pic), and only needs a little bit of cosmetic surgery (passenger side).

^^^ You can see the cosmetic damage along the side in this picture.

Yes that is the factory radio.

Even has a hot bootie...minus the cellulite on the decklid.

$750 bucks! I'm proud of myself.

Now here's where you offer suggestions for the build. I'm open to budget friendly ideas....

OH.....man......not in the tailpipe..... :puke:

Hehe....nice find man. Looks a little worn out but reviving her should be easy. Have fun with the transformation and take pics along the way!

Eh, she's only a little worn on the right side. Grandma was run off the road into a gaurdrail. Bodyman friend is gonna do all the pre-paint body work for about $600, including reshaping the fender and plugging all the holes in the decklid.

I don't think anything on this car was ever touched. The front bumper cover has never even been removed and there was paperwork for the car as far back as 1998. Grandma was a Sears gal.

Nice find man! i wish i had that interior to replace my red stuff,my body on my car is dam near as clean as your interior. But my interior is about the shape as your body. And what is everyones deal about not useing the dam ash tray door? You can still get parts to replace them! peace
