vibration at 70 and loud wining

OK, so I’m new to the forum for a second time due to being over sees for several years with the military. I am having a problem with my new mustang. It has a vibration at 70 mph to about 80 and as soon as I push in the clutch to change gears it makes a loud wining noise with every gear change. It’s a 92 GT with a 306, tremec 3550, aluminum drive shaft, 3.55, 5 lug conversion, and is lowered,245/r18 in the frontand 285/r18 in the back. There are other modifications but I don’t think they play into my problem. I recently had the tires balanced and it helped but it is still there. Any help would be helpful.
Thanks, Chris :flag:

First, I'd clock the driveshaft 180*, if that doesn't fix it I'd then check the U-joints, then have the gears in the rear end replaced by a reputable shop.

:stupid:

then jack your car up and suspend the rear end and try it in place, with the wheels on, if you still feel the vibration, then take the wheels off. I had a problem like this and it turned out to be a bad wheel, but i had my driveshaft ballanced, changed u jonins, had pion angle checked, then I jacked the car up and did what I recomended to you.

make sure you have a buddy there it will give you a good chance to see what is going on.
