cant seem to figure this out. I dont know the steps on what to put together first. Do i slide the trac-loc in the rearend with the trac-loc a complete assembly? I need to slide the c-clips in there, but everything is in the road, I need help, thanks.

Yes, the whole assembly should be together before you install it. Make sure the spider gears are lined up for the pinion pin before you install it. The c-clips go in after the axles are slid in.

The instructions below assume you have measured the backlash and gear pattern and are ready to do final assembly.

1) Install the assembled diff (minus the pinion shaft bolt...the large pin) into the rear end housing.

2) Install bearing main caps (same side as removed from) and torque to 85 lb-ft.

3) Slide one axle into housing (careful not to cut seals) and into splined spider gears in diff. Push axle all the way in, and install c-clip.

4) Repeat for other axle.

5) Install pinion shaft bolt. Install pinion shaft retaining bolt and torque to (15-30 lb-ft). Use a new bolt with fresh thread locker. It's common for these to break, so use a new one and be careful!

6) Install rear cover.

Here is a pretty good "how to" page.

hey, thanks agian, I got it all installed, was pretty easy once you figure out the right way to do it, but i took it for a spin and driving along is good, but if i shove on it, I get a loud screeching/grinding sound coming out of the rear end, I am hoping it goes away, but i think she may have tl come back apart, any ideas?
