This 1994 Mustang Gt is used, it will not rev above 2650 rpm the mechanic said the fuel pump was bad, so we changed the pump and filter and also coil that was checking bad and the fuel regulator was also replaced, the funny part is it starts great and idle fine??
SPOUT connector that is found on the passenger side close to the Air box. The plug is most of the times a GRAY fuse like thing that's inside a connector on a wiring harness. I will check this

how many miles is it possible the cats might be plugged. I had this happen to me once before if you unhook the h-pipe and see if it revs over 2600 with just open headers. that would tell you if its the cats if not possibly the infamous distributor.
