very nice build. it really wasnt that hard to install that strut tower brace?

Thanks! The strut tower brace wasn't necessarily difficult to install, just a PITA. The worst part was moving/bending some of the brakelines out of the way that run along the pinch weld in the firewall. As long as you have a sharp drill bit and some patience you'll be fine...

what paint did you use to paint the interior with???

SEM prep spray, SEM adhesion promoter, SEM landau black color coat... read some of the posts in the thread to see how i went about doing it

Hard decision, but if I were in your shoes and someone offered me a retarded amount of cash for my car... Not sure I could pass it up.

Yeah, this is a tough decision. I love this car to death, but my heart has always been with old school muscle cars. Maybe this is my chance to get back into something like that. When I say retarded I mean it's waaay more than I thought I'd ever be able to get for the car in this economy.

i'll give you $5 for it, you did say retarded :rlaugh:

Make it $10 and that dart block you have sitting in your garage and you've got yourself a deal

11k and he said he has some room to move if I need some "convincing"

it honestly almost sounds fishy

honestly. if he has that much money to throw around id be like 12k in cash and its yours. i mean if the car has setimental value to you or what not then dont. but thats alot of money. of course not know how much you have into it but either way 12k for a coupe it good!

I think that kind of money would have me shaking hands (the $12K). Honestly, there are plenty of them out there, and this is a decision only you can make. That is good money for a fox... real good money!

I would talk to him, tell him 12K as is where is, write up a contract and see what happens. If he is willing to walk away from you, handing you 12K in cash... hard to pass up, very very hard!

I'm glad I decided to keep my car. Coming as close as I did to selling it made me realize how much I love it. Today I finished painting what was left of my interior (interior quarter trim panels), added black sun visors, and picked up a few parts... :D

I think you made the right decesion to keep the car. Your interior parts look like they came out nice. I think I'm going to have to paint mine as well, they are looking a little worn.

Thanks Terry! I'm glad I kept the car as well. I'm sure you've used SEM products before, they impress me more every time I use them. My interior now looks like brand new OEM black. :D

NICE pick up Chris... See, I told you that you would've regreted it if you sold it... :nice:

Haha, I definitely would have. The guy just came out of nowhere with a ridiculous offer that he had no intention of ever actually making good on. The number he threw at me had me seeing images of a sonic blue 03 cobra in my driveway :p. Well, at least a big down payment on one, anyway.

LOL... I hear that. Call me crazy, but as nice as 03 Cobra's are, I would rather have a blown Notch sitting in my driveway over a cookie cutter terminator... :nice:
