Currently, I'm saving for the KB 2.1L intercooled kit for the Stang. I have a question about the heat exchanger that is included in the kit vs any other option. I will be running the blower on the car and have it tuned for about 390hp rwhp since it will be on the stock shortblock. In an attempt to have the motor last for the longest amount of time possible and it to be safest, could I pick up a LFP dual pass heat exchanger and install that instead of the stock KB one? I don't know if it would make a big difference in the IAT's. I figure anything I can do to have the motor last longer would be great. I also didn't know if it would fit behind the stock GT bumper or if I would need to get a larger capacity reservoir than the KB one in the kit in order to run the LFP heat exchanger. Any help would be great! I just didn't know if the LFP heat exchanger would be a worthwhile addition. Thanks.
