Hey guys haven't been here for a while but is anybody running a Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial or ET Street Radial 2 on their stang? I'm selling my 96 but the tires are destroyed on it. I had Nitto 315/35/17's on it but they suck. I want to take her to the track a few more times before she goes bye bye. What's the biggest tire you've fit on your car? I have 10.5" 04 Cobra replicas in the back. I see Mickeys only have a 275 in the ET Street radial but they have a 315/35/17 in the Street 2. Not sure if the street 2 is too big though. It's 12.7 tread width where the Nitto's are only 12.1. Any thoughts?

I run Mickey Thompson( MT ) ET Street Slicks on my 05 GT, 26x11.5x17 and I used to run the ET Street Radials. Having used or seen many of the drag radials out there, I would go with M&H Drag radial tires. They have 3 sizes, 275/50R17, or 325/45R17 or 390/40R17. If you are willing to try a Bias ply tire, I would go with MT.

I have ran the 275/40/17's before and bogged bad with a 1.7 60' scared of launching to hard...but have talked to several guys running the 315 MT drag radials cutting 1.6's with no problem. They say they hook like crazy. These were 11 and 10 second cars:nice:

I do!
