motor swap?

hey guys im kinda new to this site and was refered by a friend his user name is back in black he told me you guys could help which would be awesome right now...i just picked up an 88 2.3 LX and i wanna do a 5.0 motor swap...its currently a manuel and i plan on keeping it that way...will the tranny and drive shaft work i know i need a new rear end but im not sure about other mods i have been doing my homework on parts but could use a little help from the more experenced guys...thanks guys i look forward to posting more with you
